Personal Growth
People who are truly completely successful are those who manage these fundamental areas of personal growth, unfortunately most of us always focus on one or two areas and only as in which we work consciously or unconsciously to develop them, but the ideal is that if we really want to be successful beings, is to strive, I say force us because many times to focus on some areas we neglect others, but we must be clear in our minds that we can work daily in each of the fundamental areas of personal growth.
I will be sharing with you what for me are the primary and most important areas of personal growth, but of course there is more.
The first area I want to share is spiritual growth. The subject of spirituality is a bit controversial, as it is very personal, it depends on each culture and a unique belief system of each one of us, so I am not going to focus too much on this, the only thing I can tell you is to look for the spiritual side of your nature, follow what you believe, read that sacred book that is sacred to you, pray the way you feel is right and meditate, the most important thing about spirituality is to try to strive to be good human beings and always try to help others no matter who.
Another fundamental area is mental growth and it is worth the redundancy, this is focused on the development of your mind, knowledge is crucial in this area, read, study, keep learning, inform yourself, the more information on any topic the more you will develop mental stability. For example, I have always been passionate about personal growth, how to develop my greatest potential and that is why I have kept reading, researching, studying, on this topic and even better to develop my mind and have more information and more knowledge about it, now I am currently studying psychology because it deepened and I understand more about this that I am so passionate about.
Another fundamental area of personal growth is physical growth and I am not referring to muscles, although if you want it also applies. So as the common saying goes, treat your body as your temple, with a good diet, regular exercise, avoid negative habits and try to relax most of the time, no matter what, just avoid stress at all costs.
And the last area I want to share with you about personal growth is emotional growth, for this it is very important that we work on our emotions, focus on your feelings, your emotions and how to react to difficult moments such as in times of stress, rage, anger or helplessness, in these moments is when our emotional intelligence is put to the test.
By the way, in my next video I will explore in depth this area of emotional intelligence, since for any aspect of our lives, such as personal growth, it is fundamental to have a good control of our emotions.
